June 5, 2026

Motivation

Recently, LearnDesk went down for maintenance unannounced on May 31st, and as of 6/5/2026, it remains down. This behavior is totally unacceptable, so we are acting on our contingency plan. On Monday, I deferred some of the website rebranding changes to implement a ticketing mechanism within the website.

As a result, I’m turning off the LearnDesk events page and enabling the new event registration capabilities on the website. While you will see some visual differences, it behaves predictably and isn't significantly different in behavior.

Impact

  • We have a Zoom link correction for Monday’s presentation for those who signed up on LearnDesk for the June 8th event. New Link here

  • For all other events, If you have previously registered and or paid for events on LearnDesk, you don’t have to reregister; you will use the links provided to connect to the event.

  • Profile Page on the Login Menu

    • The Profile page in the login menu lets you edit your contact information for our organization.

    • We will rely on you to maintain your contact information and keep it up to date so that we can communicate with all members.

    • Please make sure that you have an address, at least an email and a phone number for us to reach you

    • If you have a PPC / PPA # please enter it on this profile page.

  • Also, you will find on the login page an events page, which will show you the events that you have registered for. Please note that this will not show any events you previously registered for with Learn Desk, but the Zoom links you received are still valid.

  • Over the next two months, you will see a stream of updates to the website as we transition the site to our new name.

Step 1 – Create a login for the Website

We are using the same WIX platform as the CIPPA website. Members, and members only, have access to meeting recordings, the membership list, which includes contact information, and the new event pages we are adding. To get access to these sections, you need to have a login.

If you have already created a login, click on the login button and enter your account information. If you don’t have an account follow the steps below.

For now, go to cippa.org. Click on the Login button on the top right. After that, you will go to the following page. You can use an email account or a Google account to be granted access. Once we confirm your request and verify that you are a member, you will be able to access member-only sections.

Step 2 – Select the Event

Upcoming Events Page

  • This page is very similar to the prior events listing page

  • As of this moment the June events are on the new page, A special thanks to Bob for transitioning the events from LearnDesk to the Website.

  • Updates will be happening regularly to fill in the calendar for the rest of the year.

  • To register for an event, click on the Blue Button on the desired event you want to register for
